Meet Dr. Catedral, MD, MHA, RPhS
We’re especially proud to introduce Dr. Catedral, who will be caring for patients at our St. Charles location.
Many of our Aurora patients already know him for his calm presence, thoughtful communication, and the time he takes to make sure every patient feels heard and understood.
Dr. Catedral completed his medical training in General Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His training included advanced work in foregut, abdominal, hernia, and bariatric surgery, giving him a strong foundation in complex surgical care.
He also earned a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), reflecting his belief that great medicine isn’t only about technical skill—it’s also about how care is delivered, experienced, and felt by patients.
A Career Shift Rooted in Purpose
After years of advanced surgical training, Dr. Catedral made a deliberate transition into phlebology.
That decision was shaped by two priorities: being more present for his growing family of five, and the opportunity to build longer-term relationships with patients in a specialty focused on continuity of care.
That approach is reflected in every visit. Appointments are unhurried, questions are encouraged, and care is delivered in a way that feels personal and attentive, not rushed.
What This Means for St. Charles
For the St. Charles and Tri-Cities community, this opening represents something meaningful: access to advanced, minimally invasive vein care without the distance or delay.
It means seeing a physician with deep surgical training closer to home. It means having answers sooner. And it means getting care in a setting that feels supportive from the moment you walk in.
