I’ve dealt with horrible leg pain and heaviness for many years. Last fall I saw a vascular doctor and found I had faulty valves in certain veins in my legs, causing poor blood flow to my heart. In a nutshell, I was told to continue to wear the compression stockings and live with the pain…This summer I came into contact with Dr. Hansen at Physicians Vein Clinics. All his tests and diagnosis confirmed he absolutely could help me. I’ve had the laser ablation (EVLA) done in both legs and sclerotherapy as well in both legs now…I haven’t had any pre-procedure symptoms at all that used to occur nearly daily. I am no longer miserable. To my added surprise, the procedure didn’t cost thousands upon thousands of dollars like I thought it would and my medical insurance covered it since it was medically necessary. Thank you, Dr. Hansen, for making my quality of life so much better. Now I actually feel my age!

When Carol first came to Physicians Vein Clinics in Sioux City, her severe case of varicose veins was causing pain, swelling and leg ulcers. Dr. Hansen’s joking and relaxed manner made Carol feel instantly at ease. Due to the nature of her varicose veins, she required several procedures and a follow-up plan designed to alleviate strain and stress on her legs.

I am happy with the results and very happy with Dr. Hansen. I like that he follows up with me regularly and is very good at what he does. I have recommended him to several friends and I’m grateful I don’t have to live with the pain anymore.

Dr Gavin and everyone who works at PV Clinic are the best in the business. I truly mean that in every aspect. From scheduling and appointment accuracy and adherence, to the administering of medical procedures/therapies, and communicating aftercare and follow up after a procedure. Every person I have come into contact with has shown polite and friendly professionalism in every one of my 7 appointments at two locations. They should be proud of their entire team. More than anything, I really appreciate the results of my treatments. I feel much better now.

Jomara is very knowledgeable and gives you information before you knew you needed it (very thorough). Rachael, Christina & Nichole are experts in their fields, paired with an extraordinary kindness that shows they care and are committed to your success. This goes a long way during and after recovery. And Dr. Gavin has the gentlest, most precise/controlled abilities that make the procedure seamless (& almost painless – you are still receiving injections, after all 😉)! My legs have never looked better with minimal bruising and absolutely no pain! I will continue my care here and highly recommend others looking for comfort, person-ability, attentiveness and great results to do the same – you won’t find a better place!

Dr. Gavin and her entire team have been amazing and so thorough and kind in helping me deal with my spider veins and some varicose veins. I’m already getting great results after only the first treatment. They’ve been very reassuring, making it not at all scary and making me wish I had done this years ago! Can’t recommend highly enough! And the offices are nice, clean, and easy to get to with ample parking. Piece of cake!
