Dr. Hansen Earns Fellow of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society

We are pleased to announce Dr. Hansen, MD, DABVLM, RPhS, FAVLS has been accepted to be a Fellow of the American Vein & Lymphatic Society (FAVLS). This achievement requires considerable effort and contribution to venous and lymphatic medicine.

What is a Fellow?

Fellows are physicians recognized for their substantial commitment and contribution to the specialty of venous and lymphatic medicine. Their commitment to the field is shown through volunteerism, authored publications, education, years of practice, leadership, and any other quality or behavior that leads to the advancement of vein care. They are designated with “FAVLS.”

How to Become a Fellow

To become a Fellow one must already be a member of AVLS and achieved Senior Member status. They also demonstrate ongoing academic and clinical development. Current AVLS Fellows recommend and approve candidates for fellow status by attesting to their character, ethics, and excellence in their medical practice.
